‘Imke Ligthart is a photographer with a great fascination for the unknown. Graduate at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague and award winner Dupho SO 2020.

With small interventions she documents traces that we leave behind. She wanders between the future, present and past, focusing on the connection between humans and nature.

Her photos are the result of curiosity within a playful, poetic narrative on reality, and are part of an ongoing work that started in 2018.
