Editie 2022

Imaginarium, a space devoted to the imagination. In modern times we have become accustomed to consuming media instead of using our imagination. The Imaginarium exhibits artists that have created their own worlds and invite the audience to enter these worlds with their own imagination.

TOMORROW IS BRIGHT

Tomorrow is bright!

Tomorrow is bright, or is it?
In this age of social media we’ve become masters of self censorship, showing only the bright and wonderful. In the exhibition artists show a critical reflection on self censorship and explore honesty and vulnerability.

GARDEN OF EDEN

On the third day God created paradise. But even paradise can be improved. We invite you to wander in the gardens of creation.

CITY OF LIGHT

Although Paris likes to call itself ‘Le Ville Lumière’, only one European city has the honour of truly claiming the title and that’s Eindhoven.  In 1870 the first matchstick factory in The Netherlands opened in Eindhoven and the term “Lichtstad” was born. In the exhibition two artists inspired by light and the city show their work.

THE UNIMAGINABLE

Imagine, the word carries a suggestion of hope, of creating a better world. But the last few years the world was confronted with the other side of imagination. Who could have imagined a worldwide pandemic, lockdowns, fearing for our own lives and our loved ones.

ONTERFD GOED

During Photo Festival Eindhoven  Onterfd Goed will show and sell highlights from their photography archive. Foundation Onterfd Goed is committed to repurpose ‘orphaned’ museum objects and works of art that are repelled from public and private collections of artists.

DARING TO DREAM

“Close your eyes and let your imagination fly away. See a picture of where you wish to be one day.”

Wake up your Mind

Up Your Mind and Open Up Your Heart!

Eight young people from the national programme of VluchtelingenWerk Nederland are organizing their own photo exhibition. Together with photographer Maarten Coolen, they looked at their personal story and what elements need to be shared with the world.

Eight young people, each with their own story, but with a common message:
Wake Up Your Mind and Open Up Your Heart!
